Hi-- I was hoping for the ability to upload an excel file but see you accept .doc and .pdfs but no excel. Is that possibly to add, or are there technical difficulties? My idea was to load up a spreadsheet once a week for our "you-choose" CSA members to give us their weekly orders, so each of them could open the spreadsheet, check off what they want that week, and leave it for the next shareholder. I don't know if that's possible on this site or not, and of course I can always do it by email but then have to compile the replies.
So, my two questions are
(1) will xls upload be coming? and if so,
(2) will visitors to our page be able to open an xls, edit it, and save it?
love this site. thanks!

We have added the ability to upload an .xls file into your profile. Any visitor to your profile could download the file to their computer, edit and save it, then email it to you.

thanks

Thank you, that's a great start, and I appreciate it. What I was actually hoping for, and it may not be possible, was the ability for a visitor to edit the file online and save their changes, leaving the file here for the next visitor to add to. This way we'd have one file with all members' input, so I wouldn't have to deal with 15 email attachments. If you open the sample worksheet I uploaded you can see what I mean. I know this is quite a bit more complicated and may be beyond the reach of this site, so I completely understand if it is. I'm not web-savvy enough to know the details of what that entails. Thanks!

What you describe is not something we have the ability to offer. I would check out Google Docs

You can give people access to the spreadsheets as you are suggesting. It is free too!

thanks

Thanks, I'll give that a try.
