I've thought for awhile that it might be helpful to have a forum where people can request recommendations for a wide range of tools and gear, from reliable winter boots to rain gear to specific tools and machinery that farmers have found work well for them. Not a forum for people to post advertisements, but a place for people to share their experiences and start a dialog of what works and what doesn't. I imagine it would be especially helpful for apprentices and beginning farmers.
