I am looking for what and or oat straw. square bales preferable- dont have large trailer for round bales. Thanks!

Well, I MAY have found some.... 7.00 a bale if you buy 10. Do you have access to a trailer? Perhaps go in on some together?

Can't really afford it at that much/bale...but it would be great if we could find a coop order for less.

UMaine maintains a straw directory - there aren't many recent listings, but I believe it gets updated regularly. http://umaine.edu/livestock/straw/

Have put in a request through the Maine Sheep Breeders for a bulk order of Oat Straw. Will keep you posted if we can get an order at a better price. Still interested?
