Greetings,

We are a late 20's, early 30's couple seeking land to rent for the upcoming summer.
We have been "WOOFers" in the US, Europe, and Costa Rica; worked on local organic farms, and grown epic home gardens. We long for land of our own, but are still a few years away from seeing that happen. Until then, we hope to escape rental misery (at least for the summer), by renting your land, within an hours distance of Portland, to park our camping-van on and put our seedlings in the ground. We have good jobs with a local business and non-profit organization in Portland, and are finishing our degrees, hence the distance limitation.

We are courteous, respectful, and responsible; we have excellent references (rental, "work", farm, personal) and serious ambitions to continue laying solid groundwork to reach our goals.

If you are interested in working with us, please email me at caitlin.huber@maine.edu or call 207 six four one, five zero three zero. Conversely, if you have other housing options in mind, please send them along.

Thanks very much for the read, and feel free to pass along as you see fit.

Best,
Caitlin and Jeff

hello, we are looking for a sweet couple to occupy our farmhouse for the winter. we are a little over an hour from portland, in porter. responsibilities would include caring for 5 pregnant dairy goats and 1 buck, raking the roofs as needed, and keeping the woodstove going so the pipes dont freeze. the house is off grid solar/wind power. we just purchased the property and are looking for like minded people to continue its growth and be part of our community. we have lots of beautiful visions and dreams. if you guys are interested please give us a call or email us to talk more. thanks!
