The act of preserving plants by pressing them is another way of being with plants and their energy throughout the four seasons. Whether it is for their visual beauty or the study of them, this way of looking at plants helps attune us to our senses, something greatly needed at this point in time. The experience of looking closely at plants can be extremely grounding and connects us to our earthly home. The workshop will cover collection, techniques on pressing to retain the best color as well as how to store and mount your pressed plant matter. As part of Avena’s Living Earth, Living Soul Series, join us on Wednesday, August 6th from 5:30pm-7:00pm Suggested Donation - $10
