A revived diversified farm, on land trust owned property, in northwestern Scarborough with some small livestock and a large garden. Our subscription-based marketing involves the community in many ways including CSA, pick-your-own, event hosting, and public trails.

What We Offer: $525 shares, including seasonal vegetables & fruits.  Pick your own strawberries start in June.

Joining the CSA: Pay in 3 installments (3/1, 5/1 & 6/1) or one payment of $500 by March 1. Work share option: work 5 hours once a week for 25 weeks in exchange for a share. Come to the farm to pack up your share on Tuesday or Friday from 1pm until dusk in summer, 6 pm in fall.

The clearing in the weather is a delightful change and we are all singing the sun's praises. The weeding party brought 4 die hard volunteers on Wednesday in the rain and a half a dozen on Sunday. Thanks to all who joined us to help clean up the weeds that seem to be enjoying a month of rain.

Baby Crazy
What we are loving right now are the 4 new kittens who were born on 6/24/09. The story of our journey to having them is long and torrid. You wonder how that could be when cats get pregnant so easily.

Building a better future
With a few glitches, we made it through the first week. We thank you all for your support, enthusiasm, patience and most of all, for your appetite.Emma, Flora and I spent the week in Washington, DC. Emma presented her National History Day documentary on Margaret Sanger.
