The Black Bear Food Guild is a 2 acre CSA farm organized and managed by students of the University of Maine Sustainable Agriculture program. It was established by Sustainable Agriculture students in 1994 in an active effort to gain more hands-on learning, and has been in production ever since. We currently grow a variety of MOFGA certified seasonal vegetables. What We Offer: Full Shares and Half Shares. How You Can Get It: E-mail early to get on the mailing list. Pre-pay by 5/15. Come by the farm to pack up your share on Mondays and Thursdays from 4-6 pm. We are located at Rogers Farm on Bennoch Rd. From I-95 take Exit 193, left onto Stillwater Ave if coming from the south, right if you are coming from the north. At 3rd traffic light, take left onto Bennoch Rd. (Rt. 16W) and drive 1.6 mi.
