At Wholesome Holmstead we grow wholesome, quality food for our family and your family to enjoy.

We are located in Winthrop, Maine, where we grow and sell our own Angus beef, Golden Guernsey dairy, milk-fed ('whey good') pork, veal, poultry and a variety of seasonal produce, herbs and flowers.

Our family has operated our farm for more than 60 years. We recently opened a farmstand--which is open daily--so our customers can enjoy our bounty and participate in local agriculture. We believe in organic practices and although we are not certified organic, our production is as natural as possible. We do not administer artificial growth promoters to our animals or use synthetic pesticides on our produce.

HOW TO BUY and WHERE TO BUY our family's 'Holm'-grown goods:

*Individually--at our farmstand on Stanley Rd. in Winthrop, and area farmers' markets.

*C.S.A. Shares (Community Supported Agriculture)--pick-up at our farmstand. (FMI, Click products tab, below.)
