On their vintage farm in Belgrade, Ellen and Sue grow mixed vegetables, fruits, and flowers on their adjoining homesteads. They specialize in very fresh salad greens, a wide variety of vegetables, and culinary herbs, all grown organically, with an eye to the unusual and beautiful.

Ellen makes delicious homemade fruit pies and other baked goods, and Sue grows cut flowers to make into custom and lasting bouquets.

New in 2011 is the addition of Ken & Kamala Hahn to the Buttermilk Hill farmers. Ken and Kamala have a poultry CSA and a pork CSA, and are collaborating with us on vegetable production.

Buttermilk Hill Farm produce is available at the Belgrade Lakes Farmers’ Market and, starting in 2010, through their "you-choose" CSA. Buttermilk Hill Farm produce can be purchased with WIC coupons as well.
