On November 13, 2013, ownership of Fiddler's Green Farm was transferred from Allen Ginsberg and Laine Alexander, who stewarded the business for 20 years, to Leah and Marada Cook (also owners of Crown O'Maine Organic Cooperative and Northern Girl, LLC). The Cook sisters grew up on a family farm in Aroostook and are passionate food systems entrepreneurs. As we take over the reins here at Fiddler's Green, we intend to remain true to the mission. • To produce and offer the highest quality possible organic cereals, baking mixes, coffees, teas, nuts, dried fruit, AND MORE. • To support organic farmers and green companies that place the environment first. • To educate consumers about the value of organic farming to the environment, and organic food to their health. • To feel good about our products and our business, and what we are contributing to our earth. Our goals for the company include widening the availability of the wholesale specialty milling, and weaving the local food rennaissance we are actively cultivating into the offerings of the mailorder. We've brought in our friend Robert Ericksen to help run the day-to-day operations and to keep service consistent! Please feel free to email your questions about the transition to us at info@fiddlersgreenfarm.com. We know how special each of you are to this family business and we value what you have to say! – Marada & Leah Cook
